Airports

Shanghai has two airports, the Pudong and Hongqiao Airports. Please check carefully on your flight tickets the airport you are departing from or arriving at, PVG represents the Pudong Airport and SHA represents the Hongqiao Airport. For your convenience, you are advised to choose Hongqiao Airport.

?Hongqiao Airport

Hongqiao Airport is about 5 km away from ShanghaiMart, it takes about 10 minutes from Hongqiao Airport to above venues by taxi, the fare is about RMB15 and additional RMB 15 will be charged as Airport Road Management Fee. Five Airport Bus line serves the transportation between downtown and the airport.

?Pudong Airport
Pudong Airport is 55km away from ShanghaiMart, it takes about 60 minutes from Pudong Airport to above venues, the fare is around RMB 170 .You can also take Airport Line 3 to reach the Galaxy Hotel and then taxi to the venues, and the fare is around RMB30. Six Airport Bus Lines serve the transportation between downtown and the airport.

2.Railway station

Shanghai Railway Station is near the city center, there are many bus lines departing from the station to various parts of the city. The Metro Station (Line 1) and the Pearl Light Rail Station (Line 3) are also nearby. 3 Taxi services

Shanghai provides excellent taxi service. You are advised to choose from the following companies (Your are advised to ask for a receipt from the taxi driver):
Shanghai Dazhong(blue color)
Shanghai Qiangsheng(yellow color)
Shanghai Jingjiang(white color)
Taxi charges are standardized in Shanghai:
Starting/minimum charge (first 3 kilometers): RMB11
Beyond 3 kilometers: RMB2.1 per kilometer
Note: From 11:00pm to 5:00 am, an extra 30%will be charged.
Restriction on taxis crossing the Yan’an Road East Tunnel
Taxis are not allowed to use the Yan’an Road East Tunnel at the following times:
Monday—Friday: 8:00am-9:30 am; 5:00pm-6:30 pm

Note:
If you need to cross the Huangpu River during these times, you are advised to use other tunnels and bridges.

5 Transportation by Metro

Shanghai has eight metro lines (subway) now:
Metro Line 1: Gongfu xincun to Xinzhuang, this line passes People’s Square (where you can change to Metro Line 2), Xujiahui and Shanghai Stadium.
Metro Line 2: Zhongshan Park to Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, this line passes major stations such as Loushanguan Road (20 minutes’ walk to shanghaimart) ,Jing’ an Temple, People’s Square(where you can change to Metro Line 1),Lujiazui,and Century Park.
Metro Line 3: (The Pearl Line): Shilong Station to Jiangwan Town, this line passes Shanghai Stadium,Zhongshan park (where you can change to Metro Line 2), and Shanghai Railway Station (where you can change to Metro Line 1).
Metro Line 4: Lancun Station to Damuqiao Station, this line passes Shanghai Stadium, Zhongshan park
(where you can change to Metro Line 2 ), Shanghai Railway Station (where you can change to
Metro Line 1), Dalian Road and Dongfang Road.
Metro Line 5: Xinzhuang to Minhang Development Zone, this line passes Xinzhuang (where you can change
to Metro Line 1), Yindu Road, Dongchuan Road and Wenjing Road.
Metro Line 6: Gangcheng Road to Jiyang Road, this line passes Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Jinqiao Export
Processing Zone and Lujiazui Finance Trade Zone (where you can change to Metro Line 2&4).
Metro Line 8: Shiguang Road to Yaohua Road, this line passes 6 urban districts (you can change to Metro Line1 & Line 2 at People’s Square),
Metro Line 9: Songjiang New-City to Guilin Road, this line passes Songjiang University Town, She Mountain
and Caohejing Hi-tech Park.
